Sooo many cute little surprises with this place. I dont wana give them away. The beds are so comfy, we napped all the time lol. The house is a perfect example of what you want to see in a farmhouse. I didn't see any air conditioning, the upstairs gets a little warm, but she's an excellent hostess & will do whatever she can to make your stay enjoyable. We were busy but if your very leisure & have time, ask her for a tour, there's so much to see. Stayed here for family reunion in Sugar Springs and this location was perfect for acces to Gladwin, Sugar springs, etc. The upstairs shares a bathroom which was never an issue, & it's a corner stand up shower, so not much room if you have a toddler that may bathe with you. Inside the shower stall there was a soap/shampoo/conditioner dispencer already. Its also has a large basket full of all kids of toiletries in case you forgot something. I even borrowed the fingernail polish remover so I didnt have to go to town. Each room has a hot/cold working sink so that cuts your bathroom time down for each guest.
Make sure to purchase her farm eggs! Check out the Crippled Chicken Antiquities Store she owns in the side yard. The nap shack looked cozy too. We missed an up close look at the caboose but that was cool to see!
Do NOT speed in this town! Always with any B&B or hotel stay, call & confirm your deposit went through before your stay.

This was the first stop, on our first motorcycle/B&B weekend headed to Cadillac, MI and what a pleasant stay in the country! Luann has created such a cute, cozy & charming place. We loved sitting & chatting with her & her boyfriend around the fire pit (he built) in the evening & over the yummie breakfast she made for us, the next morning... Can't wait to visit again!

Yes, this is a little off the beaten path. I arrived at night, and was scared that I had the wrong place, but I saw the sign and it was clearly marked.

This is a working goat and chicken farm, but it doesn't smell AT ALL. It has very cute grounds, and lots of land nearby for hiking, biking or walking. Lots of nearby fruit and jam stands add to the quaint feeling. I'd imagine there is a lot to do in all seasons here.

The room was lovely, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The Innkeeper is a very kind woman who is eager to make you feel comfortable and at home. The bathroom is REALLY well stocked with any product you may need (shampoos, conditioners, eye make up remover, lotions, moisturizers, etc.), which is great because I forgot a lot of my products.

The breakfast (eggs, freshly baked bread, coffee, homemade zuchini lemon bread) included farm fresh eggs from her own chickens, and was great. I will be staying here in the future if I am in the area, for sure.

The Nestle Inn is a bit off the beaten path, but once you find it, you will enjoy your stay. The price is very reasonable and your hostess, Ms. Luann O'Dell, is a delightful lady, who makes a great breakfast and good conversation.

Room Tip: There is only one room on the ground floor, but it is part of a suite. If like us, there are just on...
