Cant ask for better when spending time in the art district of Benton Harbor, great beer the food is to die for and the atmosphere is unmatched in the area.

The space was really neat, but overall this place was not really what we expected. It is very much a bar more than being a restaurant, but our kids were still welcome despite no kids menu. We had an early weekday dinner and we were the only people eating besides a few people at the bar. The kids had cheese pizza and we all had a different sandwich. Mine was the gyro. It was very yummy, but was a ground meat rather than sliced and my feta cheese was missing. You order everything at the bar, and no real tableside service---which was fine. My husband said the beer was decent. Overall, decent, but not our favorite in our week long vacation in the area.

Stopped in for a craft beer and ended up playing trivia and drank more than one. The bar has a lot of cool history within its walls. You can tell the building has been there for a very long time and they incorporated this feel into the current makeup of the bar. The craft beers were good as was the pizza. Staff was friendly and courteous.

We stopped at the Livery on our way through town. This brewery is a converted livery so the interior is quite interesting. They don't have table service so you order at the bar and they bring your food or drinks to you at your table. The service was prompt and friendly. We were there at lunchtime and it wasn't very crowded at all. They have live music on the weekend and it looked like it would be a nice venue for that. I liked that they had several choices for the side to our sandwich and we went with the ginger slaw, which was very tasty.

Don't miss this one...owner/brewer Simon Rusk & Kitchen Manager Becky Wehmer have created a feast for the senses. The beer is outstanding & there are flavors to please everyone. My fave food items are the Cap'n Bones Rockstar Pizza, Italian & TBA sandwiches, & cobb salad with green goddess or any of their house-made dressings. Enjoy a cold brew in the beer garden, stay for the live entertainment (see website for schedule.) The Livery is where it's at!
