Stopped in for lunch and a brew. Whitefish sandwich, cudighi, fried mushrooms, and cheese curds were ordered for lunch. Each item was amazing, everything is homemade, not prepackaged frozen junk. Wide assortment of local craft beers to choose from. Summer is a great waitress if you have a choice when you come in. When you are done eating take a tour of the inn, visit the gift shop. Just take your time and enjoy the history of the building.

Also called Dukes Grill. We ate at the restaurant, did not stay at the Inn, so disregard any hotel ratings. Trip advisor would not let me enter the review without it. The food was very good (we had the fish fry) and the others in our party all enjoyed their selections. The service seemed to get bogged down a bit since it was crowded (and a bit noisy) but our waitress was exceptionally friendly. Decent choice of beers and some wine and they may have had a full bar (can't remember). The atmosphere was a combination of family restaurant and sports bar. Seemed to be the best dinner option in town and would recommend it.

A step back in time, back to the good and relaxing times. Great food, friendly people and a great place to relax and see the sights of the area. Not your standard hotel room, much better, like the old days. We stayed in the suite and a regular room. Both rooms were well worth it!!! Gretchen the owner makes every effort to see that your trip is a memorable one. This is the perfect place to relax, and forget all the fast pace that you want to get a way from. The restaurant originally was a prop for the movie that was filmed there...so glad they kept it because it ended up being an added bonus. You must try the burgers, whitefish and pizza everything is reasonably priced. Well worth the visit.

This is a great place to stay. We only had lunch.good food and cooked just right. The side room with the bar was built for the movie. There is alot of movie info and pictures. Well worth the visit. Amazing this was used for the film and the actual murder bar is around the corner. What fun.

Great piece of history in the U.P. James Stewart, others acted in the award winning movie "Anatomy of a Murder". A time honored classic. The owners have plenty of historical pictures and info on this. Good eats, beer, mixed drinks. Fun place to visit.
