We have stayed here three times over the past two years and it is great!! First of all, the location is great-right on the water so you can watch the boats go by, right in downtown so you can walk to all the places. The rooms are nice and we have never heard our neighbors at anytime. The staff is nice and helpful and tries to accomidate everyone. The pool is well kept and very nice. The restaurant that is attached is very good for breakfast in the morning. Great place that we will keep coming back to!!

Room Tip: Ground floors condo are great because you can walk right out by the water!!

The best part about this hotel is definitely the location. Right on Round Lake near the drawbridge as well as a short walk to Lake Michigan and the downtown shops. Seeing the boats was also nice.

Rooms were large and rather spacious, and staff seemed nice. Rooms were decorated nicely with decor that represented the water/lakes around. Although, rooms were out-dated and could use an update.
Overall this is a really great hotel to stay at while visiting Charlevoix.

We were apprehensive going into this reservation because the units are actually privately owned, which doesn't allow for much assurance when it comes to accommodations. We were so pleasantly surprised with our room (232), which was beautifully updated and offered an incredible view of the water. You really can't beat the location, either. Our only complaint is there seemed to be a group of 20-somethings in the room below us who were unbelievably loud, but in all fairness we never asked the hotel to step in. All in all, a great value and somewhere we will definitely return.

Room Tip: Room 232 was beautifully updated

Let me first start of by saying from the 1st phone call, the customer service was fantastic. These are all individually owned condos. They are all completely different. So let them know your needs. We were offered room 360 Sept 12-15. They considered it their nicest room. Rates were lower and weather was great! It is a huge room. More than we needed. The view is 5 Stars. It's is very noisy... But it didn't bother us at all. Just used our sound machine for our 18month old. The restaurant hours are kooky. So don't count on that! We had a full kitchen that we used and it was just fine. I did give the front desk a list for maintenance and hopefully they take care of it. On a scale of 1-5 cleanliness was about a 2.5 for the room. Decor 3(for up north was fantastic but dated.) Staff 5. Parking and amenities 4. They have a coin laundry if you need it that is VERY nice. Most laundry facilities are crap at hotels. Location is a 5. We will definitely stay again, just in a different room.

I have stayed at the Edgewater with my friends and now with my husband. Each visit has been outstanding and each condo is special in its own way. The views are incredible and the place is very clean. We have stayed here in the summer and in the fall and each visit was top-notch. I look forward to our next visit!
