Recently, my husband and I stayed at the Crown Metropol, after the Lady Gaga concert. We had booked to stay in a Luxe King Spa room, but were called up about 1 hour before we were going to arrive to advise us that the spa in the room we were going to stay was out of order, and we would have to stay in a room without a spa.
The room was lovely, they have obviously had a refit because it looks a lot more modern then the last time we stayed - which was when it was still the Intercontinental. Lots of restuarants to choose from nearby and because of the concert, there was a happy and busy buzz around the place.
Only hiccup was that when checking in, we were told breakfast at the Atrium was included and when I went to checkout, was initially charged for breakfast. I wish we didn't need to hurry to the airport early the next morning, otherwise we would have enjoyed a relaxing morning at the hotel instead.
We would definitely recommend this hotel.
