20 years ago, when our kids were little, we would take them to M & M for ice cream. Around 2001 they began offering an eclectic menu of esculents which included affordable kid's stuff like burgers and dogs either for sit down or take out. These items were also added to our requisition list.

Now, when we come up here w/o our kids we still go to M & M for ice cream and burgers for take out along with an ice cream/frozen yogurt treat of our choosing. Some things never change.

The menu exceeds the architecture of the building though the interior dining area is charmingly appointed with framed sheet music covers behind a mini, sit down counter. Booths and tables are available for sit down dining

This is not a place for an elegant, sit down dinner but if you want to sample an affordable burger like you would make at home, assuming have the ability, topped off with a tasty frozen concoction of your choice, this is a fine place to please the palate.

Seems this restaurant has changed hands. Waitress was too busy chatting with her friends at another table. What used to be excellent is no longer. When ordering blue cheese dressing, she refers to it as stinky dressing. Salad was okay and dressing had large chucks of blue cheese good thing.

My main was pan fried chicken with gravy. It is served with a mount of bland frozen vegatbles, over salted boiling gravy and two prefab rubbery chicken breasts. Sole saving grace was the mashed potato.

Amazing how one year and a new owner can change a once good place.

We had to stand a cash register to get waitresses attention to pay bill. A star has fallen.

If you are looking for ice cream, it remain good and is available outside the restaurant for takeout.

We've had lunch here many times when visiting the nearby Saugatuck Antique Pavilion. It's a charming little cafe with an impressive menu. The prices are very affordable and the food is good. Their ice cream creations are pretty amazing. I'm told that it is very popular for breakfast, and I believe that the breakfast menu is served all day.

A friendly little restaurant with good food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. My gyro was one of the best I have ever had; the Greek side salad was very fresh and delicious. My granddaughter was very happy with her mac and cheese, tossed salad, and applesauce. Their ice cream menu looked very tempting but I was too full to try anything. There seemed to be a number of "locals" there. I would go back.

This former Tastee Freez spot is a little gem. You can't miss it along the Blue Star Highway. Of course, you can walk up to the window and order ice cream, shakes and sandwiches to carry out or take to the nearby outdoor tables, or you can opt to try for a booth or table inside in the tiny dining room. We opted for the dining room for lunch. Our club sandwiches (with chips) were very good and mine was served on the bread they bake right there. Service is quick and the atmosphere is fun. This little dining room was added on by a previous owner since it is not original to the Tastee Freez. Fun spot, locally owned with good food. You gotta' go!
