Took out-of-town relatives for late brunch. Service was really good and the place has an authentic vibe. Part of that vibe, though, is that it's crowded and noisy. The menu is broad with lots of interesting choices. The cinnamon challah was very good, the pancakes, bacon (crisp as requested), and home fries were also. The two huesvos rancheros were a hit! We thought the prices were a little high.

First Time here... waited about 20 mins for table but with the wait. Food was fast and delicious. I recommend the Key Lime French Toast. It was like breakfast and desert in one!! Bacon wasn't worth the price. I will go back totally.

Toast is a really funky breakfast/lunch joint. They offer a great variety of foods to meet any brunchy needs. Staff is super friendly and the chef is fast and accommodating. Décor is quirky. Be sure to come early to get a table. Consider yourself warned!

Everybody in the area talks about "toast", a great place to have breakfast or lunch which for my point of view is one of the best in detroit.

This place is awesome since you arrive (crazy waiting lines, so be aware), usally they have the regular american breakfrast with the most delicious pancakes and the most crispy bacon ever.
I love that they are changing their specials all the time, so this time I ordered the cod sandwich with cole saw, Which is one of the sandwiched that I had enjoyed the most in my life (and I am a foodie).
Give a try to this place, because they also serve alcohol, so you can enjoy a great mimosa while you have your bacon and eggs.

Great omelettes with unusual ingredients that are simply delicious. Cute decor with old school collectable toasters all over the restaurant.
