FIrst visit for ua out of towners.
Four of us enjoyed the meat and cheese appetizer plate for starters. Well prepared and executed.
I had the Sesame Ginger Salmon, since this was billed as wild caught and fresh, not frozen, I could not resist. This dish was well prepared and nicely presented. The dish tasted fine, although a little to sweet for my palate. I suspect the salmon was the low-end pink salmon and not a higher quality salmons, but who is complaining for $25 in the Midwest. We are not on the upper West coast by any means.
Another in our party had the fish feature (Cod). The dish was presented nicely, but the hidden bottom was burned with the taste throughout the lower half of the dish. Unfortunately, we were served slowly and by the time we received the main course, we had little time to eat. There was correspondingly, no time to allow the wait staff to do anything about the very disappointing dish. This preparation should be unacceptable in this caliber of a restaurant.
Overall, we would not go back if we are in the area again as a result of the Cod dish.
