We were meeting some people for dinner and wanted to get out of our hotel room so we decided to try the Channel Wine Bar for a drink while we were waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. While we'd seen the place before, this was our first visit.
Some of the previous reviews mention food which was not available on our visit. There was an lengthy martini menu, two types of sangria, and a list of wines on a board near the door. None of the wines were unique or unfamiliar, but they were all very reasonably priced. The service was friendly and attentive.
I felt that I received my money's worth for what I ordered. For a place to sit and have an inexpensive glass of wine with friends, the Channel Bar seems to fit that bill perfectly.
