We got a great price for our huge room with a beach view. It was after Labor Day, before color tours. Staff was friendly. Was sent periodic texts to check to see how our stay was going. Loved sitting on the beach on sunny days. I have stayed here before and will return again

Stayed for a long weekend with my family.Had a awesome Bay view room with a balcony.Clean rooms, easy parking and beautiful, roomy private beach.I left clothes in dresser after we checked out.Called the next day and housekeeping promptly returned items to lost and found.Front desk employee shipped items back to me. Very considerate and professional staff. Cant wait to stay again next year! Thanks

Was a nice place, front desk was very friendly. Price was extremely high though for what it had to offer. Would of thought for what we paid at least the breakfast would of had something hot besides waffles. Nice place good location but way over priced. I've stayed in beach resorts by the ocean for far less.

Thank you for this feedback, Michael. We would like to encourage you to look at different times of the year for varying prices. Traverse City is a great place to visit in the fall and the hotel room rates tend to be lower. Thank you for staying with us!

I planned a family trip to Northern Michigan only 1 week out and was pleased to return to the Grand Beach Resort Hotel for 3 nights. It is a good central location - we made a day trip to the Platte River/Sleeping Bear Dunes, stayed local and enjoyed the jet skis, mini golf across the street and fabulous Don's Drive-in a walking distance away. We had brought our bikes, so also quickly hopped on the trail. Renting the water equipment is a quick walk to the other (Sugar Beach) property, so if that is how you plan to spend a lot of your time, you should try to book there instead. We had been here probably 20 years ago, and it has beennicely maintained. The breakfast was very adequate, just crowded, as expected during the busy season - probably get up early to avoid that.

A nice and quiet place with fantastic lake access. The rooms had a nice little balcony as well. The free breakfast was decent although the room is cramped. The people at the front desk were extremely helpful and really nice. The parking lot is a little small. It’s divided into two sections, theoretically so you can park on the side of the lobby where your building is. We had to park on the other side of the lot multiple times. Not horrible but definitely inconvenient. It’s kind of hard to see the building or sign from the street but it makes it feel a little more private. You’re really close to a number of restaurants and shops!
