Description: My philosophy on food and business is simple and straightforward. Always use the finest and freshest ingredients possible, nothing less. Create flavors that contrast but, at the same time, compliment each other. Combine textures and colors... and pay special attention to the presentation of all. And, finally, take care of your customers; good service is just as important to a restaurant's success as the food it serves. Eating should be one of the great joys in life. At Timothy's, our goal is to fulfill that promise. We want you to leave having had a wonderful dining experience... and wanting to come back."

We had a wonderful meal here. Much more room and updated décor than the old restaurant. They were still working the bugs out of the service, so it was a little slow, especially the drinks. It was no big deal as we expected that due to the fact the place was packed. I highly recommend reservations on the weekend. Best seafood in Harbor Country.

Timothy's recently moved to a new location (just about a mile away from the old one). We just stopped for a couple of appetizers and drinks just to see what the new place was like. Good stuff! We had two appetizers, spring rolls and calamari, along with a couple of drinks each. Portions were large and drinks were strong. Price was about $60 after tax and before tip. Congratulations to Timothy's in your new endeavor. Best of luck. You can count on us to return.

We were so excited to hear Timothy's would reopen in time for our Frbruary trip. The renovation pictures on their Facebook page looked promising. However, the reality of this renovation is not so good. Should have know there would be a problem when I called two days in a row(after the reopening) and no one answered the phone or returned my call. Only got a reservation because our hotel called. We heard others complain about the same thing. When we arrived people were waiting outside just trying to check in. The new design does not provide enough waiting space & the check in line puts you right, in the path of servers trying to get in & out of the bar. The bar is very spacious but could use some high top tables for people waiting for their tables, because you will wait. We were seated 20 minutes after our reservation. We were lucky. Others waited much longer, the reservation system needs work.

The main problem is the kitchen can't handle the increase of tables. We were not served our entrees until 1 hour & 40 minutes after we were seated & we placed our full order the first time our waiter arrived(which took almost ten minutes). That is totally unacceptable! When we got our appetizer of bang bang shrimp it looked like a hot mess: too much sauce on the shrimp & the Asian slaw was runny. The shrimp was pretty good but a little too much peanut. About 5 minutes later someone brought another bang bang to our table. When we told him it was not ours he just look at us dumbfounded like he didn't believe us. He finally took the shrimp and walked toward the kitchen. We saw him do this again trying to serve another table a second set of entrees. He didn't know what yo do when they rejected the entrees. Of note is that the presentation of that second shrimp was much better. Not too much sauce & the slaw looked fresh. By comparison the kitchen should have never let ours out the way it was.

When the entrees finally arrived, more than a half hour after we finished our soup, they were a disappointment. The whitefish portion is much smaller than it was at the old location and minus the horseradish crust. We were told the horseradish is seared on so it falls off. Really! The miso seared salmon was not up to previous standards. It now had a heavy mayo sauce on top that was unappetizing. Their famous fried spinach leaves also were a disappointment. Way too oily lacking much crispness. The mashed potatoes were over processed & mealy, totally lacking flavor.

Our server was very inattentive. The manager did stop by our table and we described our experience. He was very apologetic and did remove the charge for our drinks & the appetizer. He explained that they had all new staff in all 4 corners of the restaurant including the kitchen. That was surprising as they were only closed 6 weeks. At this point the renovation is a step backward in every direction. I hope they resolve these issues. We will give Timothy's another chance after they have been open a few months. I can only hope the quality returns, but I have to admit I'm skeptical.

This is for the NEW location that just opened up on 2/14/17. We had been regulars at their original location and I can say only 4 days open at new place, everything was fantastic! Well trained staff, food was great and excellent service. They have a good thing going. Can't wait to return with friends.

We have eaten here before and the food was very good but I guess success has gone to their head. We reserved a table for Thursday December 29th to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. We arrived a few minutes before 7 and were told we could be added to the waiting list because the restaurant had "filled up" at 6 and they had no tables available (though they did have our name on the reservation list). We could go to the bar in the back, bring our drink to the front and wait an hour... We went to the bar in the back where the bartender was too busy or disinterested to take our drink order so we left. It's okay to not take reservations, it's not okay to take them and ignore them. Very disappointing.
