I came here with my partner for five nights and we both enjoyed it. The resort is not too crowded which was perfect for us and the location is incredible. It is a short distance from the airport and right on the coast so you have beautiful views and can go swimming in the sea easily from your sun lounger. Some of the Sun loungers need fixing though they should look into that. The pool is fantastic and there is a shallow section for kids which is great. There is also a pool bar which did a good selection of cocktails and food, and the bar tenders are very friendly (especially Dimitri - he was good fun and played great music!). All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They also did some Greek dancing one evening which was good fun.
There are two restaurants and a supermarket which are less than five minutes walk from the resort which was really great. You could walk there along the beach if you wanted to. If I was just rating the outside area and location I would give five stars as it was perfect for a relaxing and reading by the sea and poolside, and we felt very relaxed here. Sadly I had to lessen the rating due to the bed and the breakfast. The mattress was hard with no mattress topper and the bed very squeaky. The sheet was not big enough for the mattress and kept coming undone in the night which was uncomfortable and meant in the morning I was half lying on the bare mattress which wasn't ideal. It would've been good to have two pillows as well and a small bottle of water each upon arrival would've been a nice touch. The room was clean though and it was really useful having a fridge in there. Just the bed let it down. Also the breakfast for me was disappointing. It was too greasy and not healthy enough. There were tomatoes and courgettes but they were greasy and didn't taste good. They were bland. Some herbs maybe would've helped. It would've been good if there was some fresh fruit (peaches perhaps or apples and bananas not from a tin) and muesli, and some wholemeal slices bread with an option to toast it. There was baguette there but one couldn't toast it and sometimes it was a bit hard. There was some other dark bread but I wasn't sure what it was or why it was so dark- looked like chocolate bread or something. Labels would've been good! One morning there was no tea or yoghurt as well as they'd run out which was disappointing. The wifi is poor and is only in the lobby area. This didn't bother me personally but some people may need it. The pool table was out of order which was a shame as my partner and I would've loved that and it would've been nice to have something to do in the evening after dinner. You should definitely get that fixed. Overall we would stay here again though due to the location and the accessibility to the sea. I do think there are some improvements corfu senses could do to make the place better though. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday with great views, a pool, and the ability to swim in the sea then this is a good place to stay for that.

Dear Alicia,

We thank you for your review on our hotel and regret that your stay at the Corfu Senses Resort didn't meet completely your expectations.

We are delighted to know that you enjoyed the area around the hotel and outside pool next to the pebble beach. We strongly believe that it's "the cherry on the top of the cake" for any tourists who are looking for great sea vacations. Dimitris and Christina, bar waiters of pool bar, are grateful that their work is appriciated. Let me also assure you that our maintenance staff will look into problem with sun loungers.

We will look carefully and in details to your suggestion in regards of mattresses and will improve this experience. Also please notice that we informed our Executive Chef to review the buffet menu in terms of food healthiness and bread issue you mentioned.

Looking forward to welcoming you again at us!

Best regards,

Hotel Management

Stayed with the family and 4 years old kid in first week of June and liked it a lot!
The rooms are nothing special, just bear in mind to pay a bit more for the seaside view, as some of the garden view rooms - are rather with view to the road!
The outside area - really 5 starts. The food -excellent -we were impressed by the tastiness and the choice of evening meal - the new chef did a very great job! Really loved it.When you ask for a fresh juice on the bar - the barman goes to the garden - and picks oranges to make you a fresh - nobody can beat that freshness:)

We have chosen this hotel as the only few hotels with direct access to the beach in Corfu. We read the hit-and-miss reviews before choosing the hotel, so we came with usual expectations, and left very happy :) We arrived 9 am, and we expecting to get a room around 2pm, but to our surprise the girl on the reception told that in 20 minutes the room will be ready. We I asked her for a higher floor - she proposed the last floor, room 301 (family room , sea view) - this was very appreciated. The room itself was with dated but fit furniture, the bathroom was small, but the view from the balcony compensated for all that.So room 3 starts.
The outside area is very nice - swimming pool with part for kids, areas with sunbeds around palm trees - very nice to stay during day heat. Just next is the beach (no need to cross any roads or something), small pebbles - the area left to the wooden bridge is with much smaller stones - so easier to access. The water is warm and no waves at all. Our kid liked it very much.Next to the beach there is a garden full of Oranges and lemons - every day we took some oranges which were on the grass - and they were awesome. The garden overall needs some more cares from the hotel - as it gives unique addition to the pool and bar area.
The personnel of the hotel is very friendly and tries to make your stay nice. From time to time there was mis-coordination between them due to the fact that they just recently opened the hotel, but there was no spot of laziness or unfriendliness - all of them, specifically Vassiliki in the Restaurant and the guy - barman at the bar - did an extra mile to please you. The local guy at the reception spent a lot of time suggesting me the best place to visit - as he was himself from Corfu, so all of his advices were very helpful.
There was an evening concert - where an invited girl was playing guitar and singing - while the barman was doing the accompaniments. Our kid liked it so much, so he went to help , and was very warmly taken to the team - given an noise-making instrument to support the rhythm - and he enjoyed it a lot.
Although there was no specially designed entertainment for kids, our kid was super happy - as all of the personnel treated him like star :)
The new chef did great job in the kitchen - the choice of the food and the quality was top. Greek cuisine is awesome, and the chef made the best for the guests to try it.
For sightseeing the island - you have options - the green bus stop - just next to the hotel (1.80 Eur/ 30 minutes to Corfu city) or rent a car. We did both, and this is the best way. Corfu city needs a day in itself - so use the bus. for the rest of the island rent a car is the best, which you can book on reception for reasonable price - if you want.
There is a 5* Marbella resort 5 minutes walk from the hotel - maybe people who need more noise and more entertainment and a road for a sea view option would prefer it - but the unique feeling of visiting friends in a paradise like exterior of the hotel is here - in Corfu Sences.

Room Tip: Pay for the sea view, as some of the garden views may face the mountain and the road, which is busy!

We were in Corfu Senses during summer time and I was so upset and disappointed. 1. we had a 1,5 year old baby with us, it was nothing there for kids except kids baby chair and cot in room..no playground, no way to go with pram..there is big street with no sidewalk. 2. food: every morning same thinks, eggs omelette made from powder and they milk was with water!! it was disgusting, I was so upset that I said to receptionist what is going on here..another morning was milk ok but omellete still bad.Oh I forgot dont even try coffee that was just like splash water ..I have to buy it in pool bar /2eur/ there is coffee machine. 3. rooms We had room on left side where is big air con outside, all that noise you can hear inside, I was complaining and they change room for us about one day later, but still was so noisy, because doors are old and you can hear everything from hall..the beds are so horrible, so old , you cant even move cos its so noisy. Good thinks: staff in restaurant save this hotel /especially Christina my child love her/and also another staff in kitchen were so nice, very nice beach and clean sea, hotel is direct on beach, sometimes problems to find free sunbeds, animators just for bigger kids and adults.just playing some water games etc .. This hotel is absolutely not suitable for young family, absolutely missing playgrounds and area for kids inside hotel, lunch and dinner was ok but that breakfast was killing me.. hotel wasnt cheap so I dont understand.. so for me never again, if you are young and you want just swimm it is good hotel for you..thank you guys in restaurant because of you I had better feeling in this hotel

Hotel is right on the beautiful and clean beach, stuff is very polite, always with a smile on their faces. If you want to spend some quality time by the pool you can join animation, for young and old. We'll be back next summer, for sure.
