The service is friendly and prompt. The food is delicious! They don't take credit cards so bring your checkbook or cash, but it is worth it!

The food at Lai Inn was gross. My husband ordered egg too yum parties and it was stringy and messy. The fried rice was so dry that you need water with every bite. I will never eat here again. Forget it

This restaurant has been in business at the same location for 10+ years. The food is good if not memorable -- except the cream cheese wontons, and especially the sweet/sour dipping sauce on every table you can drown them in!

Haven't been here for quite some time. Forgot how good their food is. Especially good is their sweet and sour chicken with the green peppers and pineapple. The fried rice is the right kind of fried rice with egg in it and a brownish color, not a pale yellow.

NO CREDIT CARDS! The Lai Inn is a small family restaurant in a strip mall in West Bloomington, across 169 from a strip mall in Eden Prairie. It is across from a gas station. You must be ready with cash or a check to pay. The lunch without drinks cost over $30 including tax and tip, which seemed like a lot for a lunch without beverages--for what we were served. FOOD: The food that was fried had a thick batter and the chicken meat was good-- but I have eating a lot of Chinese and other Asian cuisine all over the USA and overseas, and to me, the worst element was the inferior toppings and sauces: thin and sparing of the fresh appearance and quantity of typical fruits and vegetables, or other toppings (sesame seeds, etc.) that you expect. The cream-cheese wonton plate was generous. The table sauce also was not to my liking. I would not dine here again based on the prices and the food toppings and sauces. There are other places where the vegetables, fruits and sauces and dips that are served have an outstanding flavor, quantity and appearance. The portion was somewhat generous. I did not finish my egg-roll. Normally, I find egg-rolls and spring rolls hard to resist. The service was satisfactory. I would only pick this restaurant for the convenience of the LOCATION if meeting someone from West Bloomington and Eden Prairie and near the Bush Lake and Ferry Road area.
