My wife & I were exploring downtown and walked by this place. We were kind of looking for someplace to have dinner and decided to try this place. It wasn't very busy but it was a Monday evening in September.
Sat down and looked at the menu, ordered beers, fair selection of craft beers. My wife decided to order the Bangers & Mash, I decide to order the roast beef sub, I forget what they called it. The waiter said they were out of hoagie buns so they would serve my sandwich on two hot dog buns! He then came back and told us his shift was over and the other guy would take care of us. Our food was served after awhile. My wife;'s Banger & Mash serving was quite large, she said it was good, I tried a bite of sausage, and it was good but she said it didn't have peas in the mash as B&M is suppose to have. My sandwich was served on two over toasted hot dog buns. The beef was tender, I took it off the bun and ate it by itself. The fries were ok.
The waiter finally came back by and I told him we were ready for our bill, he brought it over. He didn't give me a copy of my credit card receipt so I had to go up to the bar and ask for one.
Overall an unimpressive meal.
