We were in Ely for a vet visit with our dog and had time for lunch. We have been to many of the restaurants in Ely. Some are worth a revisit some aren't. We hadn't been to Taste of Ely before and gave it a try. My wife had the turkey dinner and I had a turkey wrap. The turkey dinner was very good. The dressing had a lot of stuff in it and tasted very good. The potatoes were not really mashed but more like a cross between hash browns, fried potatoes, and mashed. Very good. The turkey was a little dry around the edges but the rest was good. The turkey wrap was moist and loaded with good stuff. With Ely being a tourist town you will pay a little more than normal for a small city but compared to the Twin Cities it is the about normal. We will stop by again. Try the root beer. Very good.

OK, food is good, but service of Joe Vito was extraordinary - maybe because we come from Slovenia :). He really immerses in his job! He is so attentive!

Great food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Make sure to get some of their homemade bread; it's fabulous!

Good food and cozy atmosphere! The French Onion soup was delicious. Lunch isn't served till 12 though, seemed late. Would go back though!

Nothing fancy here but my deli sandwich with terrific and the turkey melt on cranberry bread was equally so. I really devoured the berry blast. Clean, friendly service. Great option.!
