Some friends and I were referred to the club since we enjoy listening and dancing to Reggae music.

The band was excellent! They were very entertaining and they definitely kept everyone moving.

There was a door fee of $10 to get in but it was definitely worth it with the band they had. We asked if this was the regular band and they said they are there every Thursday. We also found out from the band that one of the lead singers is also a feature at Bunkers downtown Minneapolis on Washington Avenue.

The drinks were priced decently and the service was good.

Tons of seating, you can always find a place to sit and rest when or if you need it.

The patrons were nice.

We will definitely be returning.

The food was very good here. I recommend the sample platter which included nearly a dozen different food choices along with Injera (flat bread) that was still warm. Nothing brings friends together like sharing a large plate of food while eating with your fingers and bread. It's fun!

The Blue Nile is an Ethiopian Restaurant and a beer bar. The food is outstanding. Everything I have tried is good. The bar has a reputation for being one of the places to find rare draughts in the Twin Cities. Craft beer lovers will find things on tap here that they won't see on draught anywhere else in the cities. Surly is always available, as well as a rotating selection that includes Belgian beer and craft beer from other parts of the United States. The Blue Nile is close to the Town Hall brewery and they can be visited in the same evening.
