The tour was interesting and informative. If you like history it is worth taking the time to see. Not anything I would take young children to however.

Must visit if you are into history, particularly Southern. Tour guide knowledgeable and had lots of little insights into the time period that were new to us.

We enjoyed our tour of Beauvoir - it was $12.50 pp- there were only 6 of us taking the tour when we went at 3:30. Our guide was very friendly and was a local and knew a lot of side stories that had us laughing. She also told us all about the devastation of hurricane Katrina to this area. The house and its contents as well as the painting of the interior was very interesting... it took about 30-45 min and then we walked the grounds and saw the cemetery as well as the presidential library/gift shop building. Well worth the reasonable price.
