We checked in to this camp with the intention of staying for 1 night on our way down to Stockholm. We were travelling with a 3 person tent and a car and were shown where to pitch our tent on the map. When we got to the place reserved for tent pitching we were horrified to see that it was amongst pine trees with no grass in sight! As I didn't bring my rake to rid the ground of the pine cones in order to have a suitable place to pitch my tent, and I had also forgotten my spade to remove the various tree roots, I had no choice but to check out again immediately and find somewhere else. These sites are NOT SUITABLE for any kind of tent! Because the sites are actually amongst the trees there is also no sun . Upon driving out in disgust I noticed that the caravan and motorhomes were placed on lovely pieces of lawn in the sun. Go figure.

We came here a family of four and we were delighted. Kind service and lovely views. Warm bay water and warm sand. Bring som coins (4 x 10 crowns) if you want to use the parking inside the premises. There is a free parking outside for hikers only to Billudden paths. We brought swimwear and stuff for a picnic. Wear good shoes, shades and bring a book or newspaper. There is a restaurant, small shop and a minigolf. Far to the right of the beach you can be all naked. Beautiful place, stay a day here or rent a little cabin. The paper mill nearby smells a little at first, but then ir was no bother.

We stayed here for two nights in the small cabins, which were clean and comfortable. We didn't take bedding with us, and to hire cost 120 per person which was expensive as we were 8. The bedding was not even ironed, which you'd expect for that money. We went to the restaurant on our first night at 9.15pm. The girl serving very rudely told us the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes, even though the sign said open until 10. When we asked where the salad was we were told that they had put it away to save time when they were closed!!! When you are paying 900kr you expect to have some salad. Unfortunately this poor service made us go somewhere else the following night. The beach is fantastic, and we would return for that reason alone.
