Hotel is long overdue for a remodel, carpet stains everywhere with fans running in the halls to seemingly dry the wet carpet. After entering the room, I was greeted with a warm stench that I couldn't identify. I immediately went back to the desk to request another room where I said it kind of smelled like urine. The desk clerk said she wasn't surprised because there were Mexicans staying in the room before me. Little did she know that I am 50% Mexican myself, shrug. I went to the new room and the same stench was in that room too, it wasn't until I took my shoes off when I realized the carpet was damp and then I realized the smell was mildew. I didn't even take one step on the carpet before a prickly thorn lodged into the bottom of my foot. The room was not properly vacuumed and bed was excessively worn/lumpy with pillows so far gone. I had to run over to WalMart to get a fresh pillow in order to get any decent sleep on the second night. Breakfast was kind of a joke, the orange juice was marked "out of order" then entire stay and there was no backup option to get orange juice, the eggs were cold as there was no warmer under the pan that held the eggs. Biscuits and gravy were nice, but there were no sausage or bacon which I am accustomed to. WiFi was useless because it was super slow, I had to use the HotSpot feature from my phone to get decent internet on my laptop.
I wasn't expecting very much for a 2-star hotel, but for the price, you are way off the mark, at best I would give this hotel a half-star!
