We had a wonderful stay at Rivers Edge Resort. The website is very helpful with everything you need to know and the expectations/preferences they have (in regards to the coolers/towels etc). You actually turn into the gas station and its on the left side behind it (if you went on the little bridge you passed it). We arrived past check-in time, and let the owner know before hand that day, and she was very accommodating, and left us a key so we could get straight into our room. The location is perfect. Its within walking distance to the gas-station for ice, drinks etc, and they serve a decent breakfast. Also, its within walking distance to shops and a Mexican restaurant. So if you are hungry when you get off the river you don't have to drive anywhere. We used Windy's company to float, and they picked us up and dropped us off there right in front of our cabin, that was nice. The river was clean and calm to float on, interesting to see how its changed post the flood. The room at Rivers Edge Resort is very quaint and cute. Rustic and vintage feel. The front is a big wooden old time door, and the inside was very clean. Clean sheets, clean bathroom, sink, and tub. Had towels, extra toilet paper, a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and little knobs on a shelf with a few hangers to hang an outfit up. This seems minor, but I really appreciated the hanging minor in the main room so I could continue to get ready while someone else used the bathroom to get ready. the air conditioner ran surprisingly really well and adjusted to the desired temperature quickly. It had a king size and queen size bed with two chairs and a desk. It has a sliding door that leads out to a covered long wooden deck that has benches to sit on. It has a little pavilion and over looks the rock beach area. It was quiet, no problem with noise. We checked out seamlessly. If you looking for the ritz, this is not it, if you looking for a cute wooden river room close to everything with nice/accommodating management, this is perfect. Would stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Room Tip: all rooms are in a good location, cabin #2 had good cold A/C

We have stayed here more than a dozen times and will be back again. Lots to do and see in the area along with plenty of shops and restaurants. Just relax by the river or take a float (the float company will pick you up at the resort). Don't miss this place.

Room Tip: Top floor has the best views.

Very nice rooms looking out on the Jacks Fork River, for only half-price in the off-season. This place would have rated a 5, if not for the internet being down, and the family that runs the place being gone due to an apparent emergency. Despite the absence, they still had the room ready for us, open, and checked-in. The resort's website gives you all you would need to know, but the only way you can make reservations is by phone - which can be hit-or-miss in the off-season. Still, I would stay here again in the off-season, which we've done before (internet issues then, too!); it was worth the minor inconvenience.

Room Tip: Website should help you choose whether you want a motel-style room, or one of their many canins.

Ridiculously overpriced. We paid $600 for two nights, and it is at best should have been $250. We go to Eminence every year and will never stay there again. We were supposed to have a kitchenette, but there was a microwave and no other utensils or supplies.

This is a cute resort. The unique art sets the place apart. The owners and staff were friendly but unintrusive. The room was a bit tight and pretty bland for the price. I enjoyed the river view/access. We loved jumping from the bridge. And they're cats gave us a warm welcome. We were able to float right up to the resort property.
