The campground was nice with great views and space between each tent site. There were lots of activities to do within the campground Hiking, Canoeing, swimming. Lots of shady camping sites for summer. It was a little chilly for me to camp in October but pictured is the great view. Central to many other great state parks.
No cell service and no modern conveniences close by. Very small store and canoe rental Half mile hike away. Not sure what they have in there for food at a regular time. When I was there the store was empty last day for them to be open for the season.

Most of the sites are shaded and the shower house was pretty clean. The access to the river was awesome, the canoe rental place picked us up at our site and we ended our float trip here.

The sites were small, we were able to get 2 tents on one site but many sites would not accommodate both.

The Rangers were very friendly and helpful. The cave tour was awesome.

Basic, nice and quiet smaller campground within Ozark National Scenic Riverways. Convenient location for exploring the area by land or river.

The campsites can vary greatly. There are some good ones but many are rather sloped. Do a bit of research to find one that will work best for you and your equipment.

You can grab a map and other National Park information at the ranger station, including Junior Ranger booklets. Also check the schedule for any programs happening at the amphitheater during your stay, my daughter loved attending them.

The bathhouse was nice and stayed pretty clean during our trip. I really liked the individual shower rooms and wish more places were set up like this. It's very easy for families with kids that still need some help with showering.

Round Spring is definitely worth checking out. There's a small paved trail that leads around to it. We didn't have time to tour Round Spring Cave but it is located near the spring and tickets can be purchased at the ranger station. It is certainly on our agenda for next time!
