We have stayed at many different places in Eminence over the years but this was our first time at Eagle's Landing. We chose the hotel since we were meeting a large group of friends and wanted to be near each other but still have our privacy. We were not expecting anything extravagant but we were all quite impressed with the hotel rooms, clean, comfortable beds. Didn't see any bugs as others had reported. We were all arriving at different times so it was nice that the staff left the doors unlocked and the key on the table so we were able to unload the car and change to go swimming as soon as we arrived since no one was in the office for certain periods of time. The office is only open for a short time during the day but even then they have to lock the office at times and tend to other things. If you plan to arrive after 4pm you have to call ahead. A few of our friends had to call several times before someone answered but we all understood the "small business" factor. The staff was great, didn't seem bothered that several of us arrived so early (before noon) and they provided clean towels during our stay. The view from the hotel was beautiful and it was just a short walk to the gravel bar. We did eat dinner at the steakhouse our first night...We have stayed at many different places in Eminence over the years but this was our first time at Eagle's Landing. It wasn't terrible, but just okay. Service was good. The bar did get a little loud at night when we went to bed but it wasn't loud enough to keep us awake. We will definitely stay there again.More
