I would agree with the previous commenter who said this place is the sleeper hit for best restaurant in MSM. MSM is a GORGEOUS village. But most of the restaurants are very pricy -- and a little stiff-feeling, too. Plenty of places to get a snack for less, but if you want a proper meal -- with an extremely friendly and welcoming attitude (especially from the young waiter who has an eerie resemblance to Chris Cornell, RIP) -- come here. We had dinner two nights in a row. Pork loin, rabbit, duck-breast salad... But it was way they did with it every time -- the pork loin and fingerling potatoes came with a little jar of melted roquefort sauce that I could have drank on its own. The pork ribs the next evening (clearly, they were going through the whole animal, which I admire) had a caramelized thing going on that reduced me to finger-licking. And the rabbit in moutarde à l'ancienne! Mamma mia. The bill was 44 euros one night, and 32 the next, and this is with a bottle and half-bottle of wine, respectively. Also, the pace is rarely crowded, so your chances of getting a table on the spot are very high -- a genuinely rare privilege in MSM in July on a weekend.
