We were on the road in outstate Missouri and decided to spend a night at the Barnwood Inn. It’s VERY country and has so many interesting artifacts from the past. It’s extremely clean, quiet and accommodating to our needs as a couple who enjoy new adventures. We will certainly book another stay if we route ourselves through their region. Thanks for making new memories.

The minute you walk through the door you are greeted by the owners Mike, and Michelle. If you like Joanna, and Chip Gains you will love the decor. Our room was spotless, our bed was very comfortable, I got the best nights sleep I have had in a long time. The BarnWood is located on Hwy 13 very easy to get off and on. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover it is an old fashion motel look from the outside but, the inside is beautiful, modern, updated. Great Direct TV service, and the WiFi is fast. I will differently be back when in MO.

Because of a late start one day when heading to Branson for a week, getting near sundown, used Trip Advisor and found this totally renovated small motel close to Hwy 13 in Humansville. Staffed by super-friendly hostess, Thai, we checked into one of the fully ADA equipped rooms that was decorated with clever and cute vintage farm ambiance. Very comfortable bed with new mattresses and lots of pillows.Very reasonable price and a complete hot breakfast with lots of things you can fix for yourself the next morning. Should really be called a true B&B.

Room tip: Park close to the covered door way to get to the quietest rooms. If you need ADA, be sure to call ahead.

We took a break during a cross country bike trip to visit friends in the area, and were delighted to find this place. The room was large and spotlessly clean, with all of the amenities we could hope for (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, big screen tv). The beds were super-comfortable. And owners and manager went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed. This is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed at. If you're traveling in the Ozarks, it's worth going out of the way to stay here.

On the way to Branson, our church bus experienced major problems, so the driver pulled into the parking lot of the Barnwood Inn. The owner and manager welcomed all 14 of us in and allowed us to stay two hours until other transportation could be arranged. They gave us a tour of each room and allowed us to use one of the room's restrooms even though they had just cleaned it.

The rooms are spacious with spacious baths and have nice linens. Each room has a large flat-screen, name brand tv and mini frig. The rooms opened into a long hallway that connected the area with the office and dining area.

Thanks to the graciousness and hospitality of the Barnwood Inn, we did not have to wait in the rain.
