We booked this motel for the location to the outlet mall which is wonderful! However, that ends the positive review. This motel screams for basic maintenance. Very dated and tired... stained carpets pulling from the floors... soft floors.. no baseboards... torn linoleum...just all around poor condition. No consistent water temperature. No frills whatsoever. If you are looking for a roof over your head this fits the bill. The rates they charge for what they offer are unreasonable.

This is a hotel we have stayed in for many years now. Very close to the outlet mall and other shopping. Two pools, one inside with hot tub and one outdoor with large area adjacent with several tables. Rooms are a bit dated and bathrooms tiny, but it suits us well. Has a fridge and microwave too.

So many disappointments about our stay here. My daughter reserved our room at Quails Nest through Booking.com and when we arrived, there was no room available for us. The manager, Sarah, could see the reservation but also could see that they failed to actually reserve the room. A cancellation came in and we were given their room. It was called a deluxe 2-queen bedroom since it had a microwave and refrigerator. It sounded nice so we were happy, until we saw our room. It was very outdated and old! The curtains wouldn't close all the way, the bed mattress was so old and they used two flat sheets instead of a fitted and flat, the bathroom counter was old and busted, the ceiling was super vaulted and had a chunk of ceiling missing. The shower head was badly rusted and there was no soap. One of our days the outlets in the bathroom didn't work so I couldn't use the hair dryer. We found short little hairs in the shower which grossed us out. The price we paid for the two nights we stayed in this room was so overpriced! $198.00. They advertised on their digital sign that they had free outlet mall coupons but when we stopped in the office Saturday morning to ask for our book of coupons, the manager informed us that they don't get the free coupons anymore . Not sure why they said they do on their street sign but that is not good business! We have stayed at Quails Nest before a few times and stayed in the updated rooms. They were decent but not this time. The outdoor pool was nice and so was the manager, Sarah. Other than that it was not good!!!

This week I decided to take a day and go to the lake. We arrived to town at midnight and the key didn't work at my aunts house. We had two options 1) sleep in the car or 2) find a hotel. It was hot outside so a hotel was the only logical choice. We found the first hotel with vacancy, which was this gem at the Quails nest. When we finally got our keys to room 126 it was well after 1:30am, we were exhausted. Walked into the room to find that the ac wasn't on at all. I walked into the bathroom, that smelled of urine, to use the bathroom where the door hits the toilet, only to find a roach crawling across the floor. We should have went back then to get a refund and reassess sleeping in the car, 95 degrees isn't that bad. My friend dreamt all night about having roaches crawling all over her while I just didn't sleep. At 8 am housekeeping came to clean, and didn't leave until my friend crawled out of bed to tell her to. Upon checking out we mentioned the roach and we weren't offered a refund or even a discount. We spent $80 on this room and feel like, other than exhaustion, all we left with was wounded pride and advice for future travelers.

Needs updating. Average hotel, nothing fancy, continental breakfast needs improvement. Smoking should be allowed away from the buildings as the doors are not air tight and I smelled smoke in my room. Not good
