We love visiting the inn because Sue and Ron have seen to every detail and creature comfort. From the immaculate accommodations, to the wonderful food and amenities, you want for nothing. We always come away from the inn relaxed and rejuvenated!

Jeanne (and Stewart),
Thank you so much for the flattering review! I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. It's always a pleasure to have you and YES! I have blocked the same dates for next year! Thanks again. Sue

This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast. It took 60 years to get to this stay. We have missed out on some wonderful bed and breakfast times. I’m so glad our first experience was at the Inn At Harbour Ridge. I felt like I was at home. Great family environment. I loved the hot tubs. The owners of the Inn were great people. We will definitely stay there await. Thank you very much.

Hey Austin....
Aren't you (and Chris) sweethearts!!!! I enjoyed you boxing it out with Mr. Ron and Mexico trivia!!!! It's colder here this AM, and breakfast conversation is centering around those private hot tubs and being sure you're submerged up to your ears!! Take good care and come back when you can....I want you to be well-rounded! ;) Sue

We had a wonderful mid-November weekend visit to the Inn at Harbor Ridge! It was our first kid-free get-away, since having kids 11 years ago, and it was worth the wait! The accommodations were perfect in “Uncle Bill’s Room”; luxurious and romantic and not too girly. We especially enjoyed the porch swing during the starry evenings and bright sunrises! The breakfasts were wonderful and we enjoyed the fun treats available throughout the inn. We are hoping to make this an annual tradition for years to come!

Thank goodness you got your getaway!!! I'm glad you liked Uncle Bill's Place and that it wasn't too girly! The porch swing has my vote too! Thanks for staying with us; come back whenever you can!!! Happy Thanksgiving.

The room was OK. Captain's Quarters was a tad small. Given it was literally steps from the dining room, we aren't sure why it would be an extra $20/day for breakfast in our room. It was awkward to eat with other guests. If you have ANY spice allergy, mention it. They put cinnamon in the coffee. There was SO much sugar in everything. We loathe the pumpkin spice thing and all sugars for breakfast. After being violently ill from breakfast on day 1, we opted to cautiously eat little the next morning. We probably would have preferred a hotel with sugar-free drinks and more protein (NO PUMPKIN/SUGAR STUFF).

Hey Rochella,
Thanks for reviewing the Inn. I am so sorry I put you on sugar overload! I've double checked your reservation and sure enuf there's nothing listed regarding a diabetic condition or spice dislike...so I did serve a sweetened French toast one day! If I had only known I would have been happy to offer something more appropriate to your dietary needs...I've just been diagnosed with pre-diabetes myself so I know how problematic that can be....

As far as the cinnamon in our coffee goes, that's our special Inn blend. I do have a handful of regulars who chide me and say 'give it to me straight up, Sue!' always happy to oblige! Pumpkin is a traditional October flavor.

I'm really sorry the B & B scene, especially the Inn at Harbour Ridge, wasn't a good match for you and Kelly. If you decide to experience another B & B (or if you give us a second chance), please be sure to tell the innkeeper all the things you've shared here so they can accommodate these special needs. It's hard to be everything to everyone, but don't you know I give it my best shot!!! We do offer larger guestrooms, more appropriate to serving breakfast in the guestroom, and the charge of $20 is more because there's only me (sometimes me and Ron) to get all the bases covered (setting up the tray, juggling breakfast times with the other guests, delivering it,waiting on the dishes, clean up of any spills and/or doing the extra laundry of quilts and bedding in the case there is a mishap). So yes, we are alot different from a hotel with many rooms, staff, and menu ordering in a dining room. I do appreciate your input cause I take these things personally and really want to be the best I can be so there's some food for thought to chew on here. Thanks again for pointing these things out to me. Sue W. owner and innkeeper

We just returned from celebrating our 41st Anniversary at the Inn at Harbour Ridge. From our beautiful room, to outstanding breakfasts, to the amazing hospitality of Sue and Ron - we could not have asked for a more perfect stay. Their attention to detail is absolutely phenomenal. Sue's heart-shaped pumpkin pancakes and roasted peppered bacon was to die for -- loved every bite. Sue also suggested a new restaurant to us for a really fabulous anniversary dinner -- Jeffrey's Prime Rib and Seafood - close by the Inn. Look forward to our anniversary trip every year and visiting and catching up with Sue and Ron.

Room Tip: We love Uncle Bill's room -- very quiet, private hot tub and outdoor table & chairs.
