Authentic decor, but the rooms and halls are very dark. I tripped once and fell once on the poorly lit stairs. The owner didn't seem to care when I told him. Breakfast was nice, and the rooms were charming.

The food here is fabulous and the portions generous. Great staff who are attentive and pleasant. We go often for everything from salad to tacos to wings and burgers. A favorite of ours in Western NY and a frequent stop.

This is a beautiful B&B! They keep several books in the living room that have pictures of some of the history - the house was an arson (decades ago) and burned the back half severely! With that said, they have done a remarkable job restoring this house to it grandeur. (The wallpaper is AMAZING - even the ceiling has wallpaper!) The bedrooms are large and beautifully decorated -- very clean. Breakfast was NOT disappointing - coffee, juice and fruit and a wonderful oven cooked dish which was similar to a french toast in individual dishes.

Room Tip: We were in a corner room which was larger than the inside rooms.

Spent the weekend at the Mansion. Room was beautifully decorated with private bath and quaint claw footed tub/shower. Quiet environment. Morning Coffee was average to below average tasting. Breakfast was tasty but could use some meat-based protein.

The mansion's restoration is amazing, and it is filled with beautiful antiques. However, we were given the wrong room with a bathtub too high for seniors to safely get into. The breakfast was very disappointing: cold skillet eggs filled with peppers and mushrooms: fine, unless you don't eat those things. No choice of what to have to breakfast. A very small dish of fruit. The hostesses were not friendly at all.
