Sitting in the Chase hotel rightyc now looking out filthy windows and sitting on such a stained and dirty couch that I had to put a towel down before sitting. Everyone I have talked to have been extremely rude except for the front desk! This is the 3rd and definitely the last time I will stay here! Any motel is cleaner than this dump!!! Checked out after 3 hours of being there! Oh, if you like sleep...you won’t get any with the hospital being down the street!

We stayed at this property for two nights recently. We arrived on Friday, February 2, 2018 for a wedding. Check in was at 4:00 PM. We arrived at 4:30 and the registration was total chaos. Noone seemed to be in control and the process took way too long. You would think that there would be a separate check in for their preferred members. After a lenghty wait we were finally given keys to our room which was very nice. The rest of the stay was pleasant and the staff was friendly. The room itself was well laid out and we slept well.

We were in St Louis to attend a competition our grandson was participating in at Washington University. The Chase is a throwback to the classic hotels of the last century. The Chase has a a feel and aura that the modern chains cannot match. I was impressed with the condition of the hotel and the staff. They were very visible and made you feel welcome. The location in the Central West End also makes the Chase a good chose for lodging in St. Louis.

Hotel was well maintained and welcoming. The valet staff was very helpful when unloading, and the self-park was very easy to get in and out of. There was a crowd at check-in, so that did not go quickly. The room was comfortable, but the cabinet with the TV on top of it is too large for the room...which make for narrow passageways. The bed and linens were very comfortable, however we were awakened in the morning to the air vent in the bathroom making a very loud banging sound. We especially enjoyed the location of the hotel with the great shopping and eateries just outside. We were sad not to have time to take advantage of the theaters located right inside the hotel. Overall, a great stay.

I called inquiring about changing my room and Caitlyn and the Chase was nothing but cooperative and extremely polite. I've stayed at the Chase many times and again and again they continue to impress. This hotel rivals with any five star in the country in elegance and customer service.

Room Tip: Upgrading to the suites is worth the money, they are absolutely fantastic.
