If it is a romantic atmosphere you want, well, this is the place to go. We dined here for our wedding anniversary. The charm of the building captures you when you enter. The food is just tantalizing. We had German potato pancakes for an appetizer. They were truly rich in flavor. Our next course was black bean soup. It was a perfect blend of flavors with lots of beans, very thick and hearty. My wife had sauerbraten as her main course that she claimed was the best she has ever had. My scallops Florentine was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. For dessert she had apple strudel, and I had German chocolate cake. The entire meal was so perfect. Our server was truly excellent. He was very attentive and friendly.
