We visited with our 6 and 11 year olds. The exhibits were engaging and highly interactive. We we're impressed at how they integrated technology.

They have a lot of interactive demos to show how the economy works. You even leave with a bag of money (shredded ). You have to go through security to visit, and adults need a photo ID.

My husband and I stopped in before heading to the airport. We found it to be fun and interesting. It was well done and interactive. The museum is free which is nice. They do a small security check before letting you in. I wouldn't recommend for small kids.

My family was going to do the Gateway Arch Riverboat cruise, but it was canceled due to river flooding. However, that allowed us to go and see the Inside the Economy museum. You have to go through airport-like security to get in (since it's in the Federal Reserve building) and the guards were friendly. Once you get passed security some friendly people from the museum will turn on the short video for you (like 5 mins) and then you are free to go at your pace through the museum. There are many interactive exhibits throughout the museum and you can learn a lot about how our economy works. We went during the week at about 10am and they were busy at all. Although I think it's geared more towards kids, adults can learn a lot from this as well. There is a free bag of shredded money in the gift shop plus a cube of 1 million $1 bills that you can take your picture with. If you are in the St. Louis area and need to burn some time I would suggest you go and see this.

This is a great place to visit if you are into the U.S. Economy and money. Admission is free which is awesome. You have to go through security before entering the museum. It is wheelchair accessible. You get to watch a cool video before entering into the museum. There is not much to the museum, but it does have some interactive things to do. Don't forget to grab your free bag of shredded money before leaving!
