Every single one of the staff were so helpful and friendly. The amenities that came with our hotel stay were phenomenal! It made for a VERY affordable stay for my family. The pool was a little chilly but it was doable. Very pleased with our stay & we hope to come back!

The staff is nice, and they try hard, but it's not enough to compensate for the smell of burnt popcorn mixing with the whiff of heavy duty chlorine on the dining room floor (the breakfast area and the pool are in the same big area). Tiny exercise room -- five people make it feel crowded to the brim. Decent size junior-suite-style rooms; windowless bedrooms. The overall decor: Brownish drab seemingly straight from the 1970s, though probably much newer.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your stay. I am happy you found our staff to be nice, and our suites to be a decent size. However, we are truly sorry our hospitality floor didn't exceed your expectations. Our accommodations are built around the historical structure of the hotel, and while we may not be able to change the location of the pool, your feedback regarding the smell during mealtimes, and the size of the fitness center will all be taken into consideration for future guests. We truly appreciate your business and hope you will give us an opportunity to exceed your expectations in the future!

This is the second time we've stayed at this location. We visited the City Museum and the Magic House this time and the hotel location is perfect for both. The first time we stayed we also visited the arch. We walked to both the arch and the City Museum. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant in the lobby our first night. It was pretty good food, but it seemed really outdated and made me doubt the quality of food we could expect. The waiter was great. Our toddler is incredibly shy, like over the top shy. But she talked to him and asked him for some tomatoes. Which he brought out and got her to smile and say thank you. He was great. The pool was standard, and the kids enjoyed themselves. The popcorn is REALLY good!! Haha! They have upgraded the breakfast area since the last time we were here and it's super nice now. It wasnt bad before. The breakfast selection was good. This was a road trip for us, so we got to see several breakfasts and evening snacks. This was on par with the others, maybe slightly better. We also stayed at the Drury in New Orleans. I have to say, we now look for this hotel wherever we go. It fits our needs perfectly. We have 3 young kids so a pool and hot breakfast are critical amenities we look for. We had a room just off the pool, but not exactly pool side. With the 5 of us and all our road trip luggage, the room was a bit tight. But we made it work and were very happy with our stay, again. I'm sure we'll be back!

Room Tip: The pool side rooms have a small table and chairs just outside the door.

Traveled to St. Louis to visit a friend for the weekend. We had a clean, beautiful room; Amenities include a breakfast buffet and Kickback that includes 3 drinks and tasty snack type foods that were enough for dinner after a day's drive. It included baked potatoes, nachos, hot dogs, mac and cheese. Staff was so friendly, cordial, and kind. We were allowed to check-in early which was an added bonus.

Great place to stay and good on the pocket. It was wonderful to have a hot breakfast and dinner without having to cook or go out. Loved the adult beverages in the evening. The kiddos loved playing in the pool. And almost everything we did was within walking distance. Will most definitely return. Staff was awesome too.
