This is an excellent property from top to bottom. Good check in and check out experience, clean and efficient rooms and a decent breakfast selection. There is a restaurant right across the street and many others within a short drive. One of the best HIE hotels I've experienced.

Lovely, clean, spacious room and every member of the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a standard HIE breakfast but it was well tended while some we’ve visited have not been. While we typically don’t need a bathtub, this room had one and it was very clean and a bit oversized and we needed a good hot soak after a long drive. And the water was nice and hot!
Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was good and everyone found something to eat. Pool is tiny so we went swimming early when there were not a lot of people present. Lots of towels at pool. Easy to get to places to eat (can walk to a couple) and the aquarium was an easy drive. Overall I would stay again.

Very nice, clean, friendly hotel. Front desk lady was exceptionally nice and helpful. Room was very nice and, most importantly, very clean. Location was also very convenient, with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Highly recommended.

Stayed at the this HI Express during a short business trip to Springfield. It is about a $30-$40 Uber ride from the airport which makes it convenient if you do not have a car. Plus there are several restaurants within walking distance (FD's Grillhouse, a Texas Roadhouse, and a pizza place) which is again quite convenient. There is also a giant Walmart across US Highway 60 from the hotel but I am not sure how to walk there. The staff are very friendly and the buffet breakfast is one of the best I have encountered in quite a while. Every day they had different omelettes, biscuits and gravy, breakfast meats and pancakes that you make to order in addition to cold cereals, breads, and various fruits. The room was very large with a huge flat screen tv and had a couch that could be made into a double bed for families. The wifi internet service was not exceptionally fast but it served the purpose. I would definitely stay here again if I am in Springfield.
