Not good! Generic late 1990's hotel. Smallest rooms we have encountered for several years. No microwave or fridge. No space to maneuver a luggage cart in the room.
The TV has the fewest channels of any place we have stayed in years. And the pay-per-view for a movie is insulting! They charge $20 to watch a movie that you can buy on DVD for $14! Or rent from ANY streaming service for $2 or $3 !
Bathtub faucet leaked. not enough towels for even 1 shower! Yeah, I know I could ask for more and they would eventually show up… but for $200 a night for a room - WHY WOULD I HAVE TO ASK???
And the cookies! Doubletree has been know worldwide for the cookies! Well, they managed to screw that up! Now they are chocolate chip/walnut cookies! Dont get me wrong - I like walnuts a lot! In other cookies. NOT in the Doubletree cookie! Fail!
Lest I be accused of just being all negative, they have a shining little star - their pillows are great! Best we have ever found in more than 40 years of traveling/hoteling!
Overall one of the worst values for the money we have found in years!
And the attached restaurant, Houlihan's, was disappointing! But that is a different review! Suffice it to say, come on people! It is 2023! It's called a blender! Does not cost that much to buy a couple so can make frozen margaritas!
