Perfectly comfortable hotel for an overnight stay. Clean, cozy and located just off the highway about four miles from the historic commercial district. The front desk rang not long after we checked in to make sure our room was fine - a nice touch. Only odd thing was I could hear soft music playing all night. Our room looked out over a pool that's closed for the season and I wondered if the music came from there.
We were extremely pleased (and surprised) by our stay at the Greenstay. It was over Christmas but staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. We were traveling with a dog so needed special accommodations. Very clean. Excellent stay
The tennis team I coach always stays at the Greenstay Hotel in Springfield when we play there. The rooms are always clean and the front desk staff overs a smooth check-in experience. The only thing we missed was the quick start breakfast in the morning. But Greenstay had a big conference room set up for us to meet and eat for breakfast or dinner. I highly recommend staying at Greenstay whether you are traveling alone, with your family, or part of a team.
So far the best hotel in the area! Very clean. Due to Covid the buffet was close but we still were provided with take away breakfast. And hotel staff also were very polite, especially Ms. Natosha. We were happy to stay here, as it's relly difficult to find good clean hotel with reasonable price.
We had gone to Springfield to pick up a special car and got there the day before. I have remarked to many of my friends how strange it is to drive across the country now. Different rules from on town to another. The Greenstay was very clean and well kept. You could tell they were following all the rules!!! It looked a little tired from the outside but the inside was great. It was strange there was no breakfast bar of any kind. This was the first motel we had encountered this at. Some motels had limited bars and others had full breakfasts with servers and no self serve. Guess it depends on the city but I do not really know about other motels in Springfield. All in all, a nice place to stay.
