We are traveling from Seattle, Washington to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Needless to say, after a very long day on the road we need dinner. As we are walking through Billings, we happen upon Jake's. Afraidvwe are under dressed (t-shirts, shorts and yoga pants) my handsome man entered to check it out. To Our delight the hostess assured us we were dressed just fine and promptly seated us. Due to gastric surgery, norderingbhas become a chore for me. Our server Amy, brought the child's menu I had req rusted then offered a very simply solution... share a meal. Honestly, I thought she was brilliant as this solution hadn't entered our heads. We agreed upon a 9oz filet mignon, baked potato and salad. Amy brought the salad with an extra bowl so I could portion out what I needed. Once dinner arrived, again with an extra plate, she patiently waited for me to prepare my plate with the appropriate portions and happily added butter and sour cream to my 4 minuscule bites of baked potato. She checked on us frequently tyo make sure our needs were met and did it all with a great smile and charm. This is by far the best experience we have had during this cross country trek. Thank you for the wonderful service and your complete understanding. If ever back in Billings, Jake's is where dinner will be. As for every one reading this... if you crave excellent service, not just excellent food... Jake's is the place to go!
