Original Governor's Mansion
Reviewed 28 February 2017 via mobile

Visited the historic home on a free tour day. Our guide provided a terrific look into the architecture and daily life of early governors. A must see for history buffs.

This tour was very interesting. The rich history behind the mansion was very interesting. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Being from Dayton, OH, it was a surprise to know that the guide was from Kettering, OH.

This is another must do when in Helena. Cost was $4.00 each. Very good price for what you will see. The Mansion is simply magnificent! You will not be disappointed. To see how our Governor lived way back when, is nice to see. All the fancy wood work is just perfect and beautiful.

Very informative tour conducted by Bobbie! This mansion, like so many historical places has survived numerous changes over the years. The historical Society has done an incredible job of restoring this building back to it original grandeur. Our guide, Bobbie, really helped us understand many of the luxuries that this house had in the late 18th century. Excellent tout f you want to experience the earlier times luxury.
