An old favourite of locals, the Low House has recently started doing food again, and while the menu is fairly limited we had a very enjoyable evening in the sunny garden, and a nice dinner. It will take a while for word to get round, but it should soon be as popular as it was in the past. Best of luck for the new venture

From what we were told this has been taken over as a community interest company pub recently so effectively has new owners. We had Green Jack and Adam beers from the tap room and sat by the fire place area on their fabulous wooden pew type benches. Really lovely pub and good beer. Note: They apparently have a cook arriving in 2 weeks (as distinct from a chef) and told us they would then serve straightforward reasonably priced pub food. Loved the place.

Great old building, lovely big fireplace with a roaring fire to keep you warm in the winter, very friendly people and excellent food, well worth a visit .

I popped in for a meal with some friends on a Saturday evening and wasn't disappointed. I ordered the lasagne, which arrived fresh and flavoursome. Accompanied by a garlicky ciabatta sensation and the LETTUCE! Let me tell you, I've never had it so good. The Chef had excelled with this dressing, a true flavour explosion in my mouth. A leafy side dish, that stole the show. Even my short friend was excited about this green dream.
A great night, fantastic food and a napkin so soft, it must've been 8ply.

Thank Dartsy

Passing through Laxfield and saw a sign on T junction for Kings Head pub, so decided to visit for lunch. The pub is really old world, with a tap room, no bar, card room and a tiny eating area. But the pub is really inviting and full of 16th century character. For a large pub chain to own it, is amazing, the menu is very limited owing having no manager, but the staff are friendly, as also are the other drinkers sitting round the large table and open fire. If you want a trip back in time, give this pub a go
