I had high hopes for this place, but was a bit disappointed overall. The food selection was minimal and the quality of the food was just okay. I was surprised that we had to ask for a wine list, being that this is a winery. I would have liked to try some of the wines with a flight, and a cheese plate would have been nice too. Neither of these was an offering at this winery.

Saturday night...very few patrons at 6:30pm and throughout meal.
Service was pleasant and attentive.

My meal, a clam/pancetta linguine dish was very disappointing. Sharp/broken clam shells, unopened clams, clams open had no meat in them. Cream based sauce very thick and goopy, like glue, difficult to identify clams or other ingredients. Pancetta (or garlic?) was crunchy/sticky. Topped off with a large slice of grill-fried bread that once picked off of the pasta revealed a very unattractive dish. The taste was barely OK. Presentation/general quality terrible.
Wife's meal Mediterranean eggplant/ chicken dish; she was satisfied but far from impressed.
Friend's meal was Ahi..primary feedback was to much of what was thought too be "lemon-pepper". Not impressed.
Friend's wife meal I do not remember, at all.
On top of it all, the TR Zin we had was on it's way to going bad.
Meal prices were high, especially for pasta dishes...insult to injury that the meals were poor to tolerable.
Perhaps it was just a bad night, but this is our first and last time here. FWIW, having eaten at the old location in Minden, the food was very good.

Service very attentive and caring people. Food, wine and olive oils and balsamic vinegars wonderful. The restaurant is very good also. We have been a member of their wine club since they started out in Genoa long ago. We have never had any complaints only compliments. Mary is such a wonderful person on their staff and was very helpful and caring. She makes the whole trip worthwhile!

There is no other place like this in Carson City. It's bistro dining with a most interesting and varied menu. We really enjoyed the local wines. The food was good and the service was adequate.
