To be fair we aren't the onges to rate the bakery since we aren't Hispanic. But we have tried the Churros which aren't as good as the ones you get fresh from the deep fat fryer on a street corner in MX!

The bakery appeals to the Hispanics in our community and it is a great addition. if you are like me and want gooey cinnamon rolls and cheese Danish you won't be satisfied. On the other hand give it a try if have t had this type of pastries!

Pick some up for breakfast, a snack, dessert, or all three! It's hidden in the corner, but worth looking for it. it's hard to choose, so get lots! Yummy, before or after you hit the slopes!

Nothing beats fresh pastries for breakfast when you're in a hurry to get to the lake. Upon walking in, the baker was very cheerful and directed us to rack upon rack of freshly baked Mexican pastries. Grab a coffee from the place on the other side of 7-11 and you're ready to go hit the water! What more do you need?
Comida muy sabroso! Gracias!

This is a Mexican bakery. See the Name Panaderia! So if you are expecting a gringo bakery you will be disappointed. But if you are expecting a Mexican bakery You will be verty happy. If you know what I am saying then come on in and enjoy a nice selection of Mexican baked goods. Enjoy, I did. If You want gringo donuts, the 7-11 next door can take care of you.

We tripped across this little bakery and what a find! It's tucked in the corner behind 7-11 on corner of Tahoe Blvd and Village Blvd. You have to turn onto Village Blvd to see it - so the address is misleading. It has traditional Mexican pastries - delicious and less sugary than typical American bakery fare. Almost all are stuffed with cream, strawberries (real strawberries, not some flavored goo), chocolate, cream cheese, etc. We bought about 10 different types and all of them were delish! They also make breakfast burritos - wrapped in a tortilla or stuffed into a freshly baked croissant - with eggs and choice of veggies, ham, or sausage. We didn't try the veggie, but the 2 meat versions were great. For 6 pastries and 2 burritos it cost $18 - a great deal especially given the HUGE size of the pastries. This is a definite stop anytime we're in the area!
