We booked the Executive Suite at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas for three nights and it was wonderful. We ate the breakfast buffet once, it was really good fresh food. Visit the shops and fast food upstairs they are a great option if you don’t want to spend a lot on every meal. The casino was not as flashy as most of the casinos on the strip but it was nice and we had good drink service. We spent the majority of the time walking the strip and visiting the other casinos anyway. The location is away from the busiest part of the strip but the Deuce was easy to take, cheap and right outside the hotel. We used the Monorail one day during our trip and that was fun it does not stop everywhere so you will walk more but you don’t have to wait more than 6 minutes and its not crowded. I don’t think it matters where you stay on the strip if you want to see everything your going to be walking or riding the Deuce.
The Executive Suite was nice and comfortable. The spa tub was big enough for three people that was freaking awesome!! The highlight of the day was getting all sore and tired on the strip then coming back to our Suite firing up the spa tub and relaxing with my honey so we could get dressed and go to dinner. It was like heaven, I spent a lot of time in the spa tub. Everything in the suite was decent, the bed was very comfortable and the service we received was great. The thing you must remember is that the Stratosphere is not the Bellagio no matter what room you get. Its nice but if you come expecting to pay for a Toyota and get a Mercedes you will be disappointed. I highly recommend the Executive Suite for someone looking to save money but have a nice stay and a little luxury.

My Husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night and it we were very suprised and pleased. The food was very good and they have exceptional service. We dined at the Courtyard Buffet for breakfast and it was Great. There were many selections to choose from as well as great service by all the Staff. We had dinner at an asian restuarant called Naga and it was also good. This hotel is near the end of the strip and there are alot of cheap motels that make the location of it not so good. We did not go walking anywhere at night to say the least.

We paid $170 including tax, etc. for a Saturday night in mid-May. Booked tickets through Expedia, and received 2 free tickets for a Stratosphere show, "American Superstars," which was fairly weak. Hotel feels old, and has Motel-8 feel. Our bathroom and vanity mirror lights did not work. We had to reset a button on the outlet to get them to turn on. It's nice to be on the strip, but I wouldn't pay more than $100 per night for this hotel.

My fiancé and I just returned from Las Vegas (May 4-8th) and we stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel and we had a great time the moment we checked in.

If you're a first time visitor to the hotel, make sure to mention that because for newcomers, they offer special discounts and upgrades. For $20 more, we were upgraded from a standard room to a honeymoon suite which was gorgeous. It included living room with sofa, 2 t.v sets, spacious bathroom, huge bed and most importantly, a jacuzzi in the middle of the room.

The hotel has great looking pools and outdoor jacuzzi in the 8th floor along with both an inside and outside gym available to customers. I also highly recommend a perfect Italian restaurant in the hotel itself called Fellini's. Of course, no Vegas vacation is complete without touring the entire strip but if you wish to just lounge in the hotel, Stratosphere has everything you can want in regards to gambling and other fun activities.

The only drawback I would mention about the hotel would be the location itself. It's located at the end of the strip but that was easily resolved for us by taking a bus ride referred to as The Deuce. $2 for one way ride or $5 for an all day pass. I would also recommend renting a car, which we did and on nights that we stayed out late, we parked in the free garages in other hotels and then walked around the strip.
