“Great staff and amenities...relaxing retreat from action overload.”
Reviewed 28 February 2012

All staff were very pleasant and helpful from the check in staff to the lifeguards, housekeeping to deli staff.
I greatly appreciated that there was no gambling in the resort itself...it was close and accessible to the high energy excitement of the strip but offered peaceful respite. The heated pool and hot tubs were wonderful for recuperating from long days of sightseeing before taking in the evening shows.
Tip...take the deuce bus...$7 for 24 hours gets you anywhere on the strip, to Freemont Street and to the North and South Outlet shops. It stops directly in front of the Hilton Grand Vacation Suites on the strip. Combined with the 109 bus (connection at Bonneyville or south bus terminal) it also gets you to and from the airport. The Deuce stops directly in front of the Hilton Grand Vacation Suites on the strip.
Another tip...get your Cirque show tickets online and well in advance to get good seats...well worth it!!!

Room Tip: Property across the street and to the north have been leveled so we had incredible views of the moun...

Stayed here for business. Was on the north end of the strip, but convenient for work. The hotel rooms were huge, full kitchen, dining area, living room and bedroom. The hotel was clean and renovated.

The full kitchen really means full kitchen, not your normal kitchenette.

The showers were large and had plenty of hot water and pressure.

A small eating cafe downstairs that was always busy. No free breakfast or discount for HHonors. Walking to the strip was a small hike for many, but an easy cab ride to the southern end.

Our trip to Vegas was to experience the Hilton Grand Vacation Club. After spending two previous nights at Excalibur we were expecting a little more from Hilton considering their normal rates. I have to say the lobby was beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. The disappointment came when our elevated opened on our floor. I know I have a sensitive nose but there was an odor and the carpets were dirty. I told my husband it made me sick and was going to give me a headache. The odor did not continue in our room - thank Heavens! I know the idea was to sell us timeshares but if this is the best of the best I pass.
It was quite a walk to get to any other activities so plan on taxi or bus for transportation.

Don't go to this hotel if you like being right in the middle of the craziness of the vegas casino scene (and all the smoking)! However, if you like to gamble a bit but don't want to be immersed in it, this is a GREAT location. If you're a limited gambler, head for the Golden Nugget in old vegas, where they still run $5 blackjack tables and the vibe is a bit less over the top. Watch out for the sales pitch, as this is a time share set-up. Very nice room. The 2-bedroom suite is perfect for two couples.

Room Tip: Rooms on the "penthouse" levels are very nice with taller windows and a better view (becau...
