Just returned from 6 nights at the Signature. Now have found our favorite Vegas hotel. We've always done the strip but this place was a gem. Was both my husband and my 50th birthday. Started emailing the concierge months ago asking questions. They helped me book a limo from the airport, book a tour. Couldn't have been more helpful. Hotel is clean and quiet. We had a 1 BR suite. So nice, stayed in tower 3, 34th floor corner room. View was amazing. The tower 3 is far from everything but we love to walk, and walk we did. You can take a short cut to the strip, going outside and up Harmon. Monorail right in MGM, very helpful. Everything was great, thanks Signature.

Room Tip: High floor gets you the best view. Balcony a plus

This was my 2nd stay at the Signature. The first was 5 years ago. Yes, I did see a few signs of wear -- the chair in the bedroom had a small frayed area and the suite door had some scuff marks (probably from luggage)....everything else was perfectly clean and comfortable. Facilities are nice, everything is clean and smoke-free. Good breakfast/snack items in the Delights deli in Tower 2.

We didn't use the kitchen facilities other than the fridge....but you could really save some $$ by eating breakfast in your room if you stop to pick up some groceries first.

All the staff members we encountered were helpful and pleasant. Understated elegance. Would not hesitate to stay again. Booked directly with the hotel and got a great rate.

For $99 per week-night (which after fees and taxes it came to about $150) you get a low floor one bedroom suite with a nice kitchen, table, living room and 1.5 bathrooms. Since lower floor rooms are probably sold less than view rooms, the room was in remarkably good shape for a property that has been around for a few years already. It almost felt new. You have to valet but the valet is "free". Otherwise, you would have to park at MGM and take a 20 minute stroll to your room. Valets in Vegas always take long, and this was no exception. A nice tip didn't help either. Wi-Fi is decent but not the fastest. However, it's "free" so it will allow you to connect all your devices. Choose Tower 3 if you want to have the fitness center right there, otherwise the walk between the three towers isn't bad. They also have a Starbucks in tower 2 and a small restaurant that serves a decent quick breakfast. There's no ergonomic chair but the dining room table chairs are pretty comfortable and will allow you to work for hours without a back ache. Lighting is a bit off but if you move the floor lamps closer to the table it works fine. There are 2 TVs but are smallish. The hookups for external devices work well. The bedroom had an iHome but it doesn't charge your iPhone. The desk in the bedroom is good but the TV pops out of it so the work surface is diminished and you don;t want to be staring at the TV 2 feet away. On the other hand, if you hook up your laptop to it, you end up with a huge monitor! Bathroom amenities are spartan but they are not overly perfumed! Towels are bordering on sand-paper grade. If you want to avoid the Vegas crowds and still be near the strip with relative access to the nicer restaurants this may be it. Choose an end room for extra quietness. Cell reception was good.

Room Tip: Ends rooms are best

We used VRBO to locate this property, and found the rate to be much better than anything "right on" the strip. We rented through Blue Chip properties, and never had even the slightest glitch.

The property is about 1/2 mile east of the strip, but a tunnel takes you there on foot in a few minutes. Taxis are about $10 no matter where on the strip you want to go and are readily available all day and night. The room, a junior suite, was spacious, immaculately cleaned, and well-appointed. This was a penthouse suite, and all rooms on the top 10 floors are called "penthouses." Very comfortable and a good value. With the fold-out couch, you could sleep four. Rate was about $120/night and included wifi, local calls, and one cleaning during the stay. You do not get new towels every day, but this is no problem if you simply hang them up like your mom taught you.

We were very pleased with our choice for our 5 night stay!

Room Tip: Ask ahead of time for a strip view. There is no extra charge if it is available. An upgrade to a two room suite is an additional $45/night at this writing.

We stayed in tower 2. First thing I want to mention about the hotel is their service....just awesome....room condition is also very good...infact exeed my expectation.....but I would recommend to request for a higher floor or a valley facing room 2/3 days earlier of ur travel.....the restroom is superb..I spent more than 50% time in shower and jaccuzi ;) .... You can get to strip just by 10 mins walking through MGM Grand.....I loved the walk....And the location of MGM is one of the best...I would highly recommend
