“Augustus Tower”
Reviewed 16 April 2013 via mobile

It was another great stay! This was my first time staying in the Augustus Tower and it was wonderful. The room was huge, clean, and had great views! The pools are awesome, but be prepared to get there early if you want a chair. The food and drinks out by the pool were great and reasonably priced. I LOVE Caesars.

I stayed in the Octavius room at Caesars Palace and the rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom was huge with marble flooring. As always with Caesars, the room had that retro feel that never seems to go out of style. The property has a number of great new restaurants and a new buffet which was fantastic. Often times a large buffet sacrifices quality for the sake of large variety, but not in this case. The casino is fun with a classic decor and easy to navigate. The spa was relaxing and had a wonderful Roman bath area. The only downfall was that the spa did get crowded...too many men in a hot tub can break man code. Overall the property seems to attract a slightly more mature clientele which is nice when trying to escape some of the craziness of the strip. All-in-all a great stay.

Room Tip: The Octavius tower is the newest wing at Caesars, so the rooms are very clean and undamaged.

Usually stay at an MGM property. I'll be back. You can tell Caesars is a Harrahs property. Poorly kept rooms, nicle and dimed to death with resort fees. $22 for a cigar, when any other cigar store sells for $8-$10? $28 for early check-in? Really. So I don't have to drag a suitcase around as I drop 100 times that gambling?

Drunk girls on the same floor 6 rooms down causing a commotion with their bachelorette party. Ugh. Come on Caesars, quit focusing on the drunk girl and guy nightclub crowd and get back to running a 1st class casino and resort.

From the minute we arrived everything was top notch! We stayed in the Octavius tower, and wow was it impressive. The room left nothing to be desired, and the cleanliness of both the room and the hallways was the best I have ever seen! We met a casino host named Tim who was both pleasant and more than helpful, and the girl at our check-in counter was fantastic. The few times we called downstairs with questions they were answered completely and promptly. My only complaint, though it is slight, is that now that they charge a resort fee, they only include one computer with that price and if you want a second you have to pay full price for that one. We visited the Gym, it was great! I would love to come back and do this trip all over again, especially with how much fun we had at the pool.

Room Tip: Octavius tower was amazing! Bed made me never want to leave.
