This is by far the best off-strip hotel I've visited in Las Vegas. I was a little freaked about a previous review about bed bugs. I checked my bedding and awoke with no critter bites. My room was clean with a spacious bathrooms. And I appreciated the shower cap included with the toiletries. I did not smell any old smoke odors.
I booked my room for Wednesday-Friday on Southwest Airlines website and paid $52/night. I ate at the French Market Buffet . Service was excellent and the food was surprisingly good for the $16 dinner price. For higher end cuisine go to the major hotels.
At check-in they hit you with an additional $5.00 convenience fee with does not include internet access in your room. You have to go downstairs to a business center for internet access.
My window fan was noisy as all hell. I ended up keeping it on all night instead of having it cycle on and off with the heater.
The salad bar at the French Market Buffet was below average.

If the bed linens at Orleans were like South Point this place would be off the charts!
