We stayed here in 2017 because it was a part of my cousins time share program and we couldn’t beat the price. It doesn’t have any of your typical Vegas bells and whistles so if you are hoping for that you will be disappointed, but I can defunitely see families enjoying the atmosphere. For those that do want a taste of the Vegas scene, it is incredibly close to the strip, and also within walking distance of TopGolf behind MGM,

We always took Lyfts to and from (you know, heels..) and the driver’s always had a slightly difficult time finding the entrance to the building, but that was only a slight inconvenience.

I like that the elevator is only accessible via card key.

The room was big and spacious, ( I honestly can’t remember if we had a suite or not, but I think so) though the bathroom was fairly ordinary/small. We had a queen size bed, and a fold out sofa. Full kitchen and dining table.

The little shop downstairs is great! Was open all night for those late night crawls into the hotel.

For the price It was fantastic! Though just isn’t your typical “Vegas experience.”

Staff was friendly and polite. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable. Not a lot of noise in hallway. Booked for a concert at MGM and it was walking distance. I will stay here again. Thank you for a great stay.

Very comfortable rooms (with kitchenette). Was just off the strip but only a block to walk to MGM and even closer to Planet Hollywood. Would definitely stay again!
Only complaint was airconditioner never managed to cool the room enough.

After seeing the high ranking on TripAdvisor and skimming through the reviews, I’m left wondering what I missed about The Carriage House. We stayed for one night on our way to Zion NP and found it completely underwhelming. We found that it lacked charm, character and any level of warmth. No warm greeting, no covering of the amenities, no smiles. Nothing. To top it off our floor was under construction and there was crazy loud construction going on outside beginning early in the morning. Some guy who seemed like a druggie was hanging out by the front door when we arrived.

The only positives I can say about this place are that it looks nice from the outside and its location is pretty convenient if you want to hit Aria or the many shopping areas close by , while avoiding the resort fees.

My wife leaves the reservations to me and it usually works out, but this one left me a little embarrassed about my decision-all I could say is that “it was ranked highly on TripAdvisor”.

In all fairness I’d probably give it 2.5 if TA allowed half stars, but can’t justify 3 stars.

Dear Christopher F,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.

Huge rooms, nice kitchenettes and bathrooms. Clean, friendly check in staff. Pool and hot tub area clean and perfect to relax at in the am before you head out to the strip. A convenient but tiny shop by front desk with a few necessities was helpful but also a Walgreens less that 5 min walk away. Nice to walk down to the pool area and not have to walk through a huge hotel/casino to get to it. Gym a bit lame, as in 1 bike, 1 really old elliptical and stairmaster, a few very very light weights but enough for a quick workout if you know how. Literally less than 5 mins to strip. Great place to stay would stay there again.
