Everything about this hotel was a very nice expierence for my first trip to Vegas. The one and only thing I didnt care for was if there was a question needed to be made to the front desk there was a recording from your room phone to the front desk, that ultimately never got answered. Then when we went down to the front desk, we had to wait in line with people that were just checking in. And the room walls were a bit thin but not horrible.
Other than that it was nice and pleasurable expierence. The staff was very friendly and pleasant to deal with. The Hotel is very clean and centraly located on the strip with easy access by tram to other hotels. And was resonably priced!

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for a room above at least the 15th floor. Noise off the strip seems like it would b...

This place wasn't anything spectacular, but was very nice for the price we paid. The food court was open pretty late, and there is a free tram that connects to Bellagio and Aria which was nice. Beds were comfy, showers were solid, and the room overall was not super snazzy, but well worth giving a shot.

Room Tip: Maybe ask for a room somewhat close to the elevators...we were pretty far down and the hallways are...

Probably the best thing about the Monte Carlo is the layout and location. If you are driving getting to the parking garage is easy and it is in close proximity to check in, you don't have to drag your luggage through the casino as you have to do in other hotels. Rooms were nice size but will need updating in a few years. I do suggest requesting a room that does not have connecting doors as they are not very sound proof and you can hear the people next door as we did at 2 in the morning playing music. The hotel staff responded very quickly and the problem was solved. Tram to the Bellagio is convenient but is a long walk to get to. Tram from Excaliber to Mandlay Bay is close also. The only disappointment was that they did not have the pool available in early March like other motels did.

Room Tip: Request a room that does not have connecting door to adjoining room

A friend and I stayed in a double queen room for a week and we enjoyed this hotel immensely. The room was clean and well appointed, the bathroom dated but clean with good water pressure. The beds were comfy and the view from our room was great :)

The hotel is on the south side of the Strip, within walking distance to the bigger hotels/casinos. The hotel is dated (for Vegas) but one of the nicest smelling on the strip :) Apparently you can buy the scent but I never found it hehe.

There is a small-ish food court and a few other cafes and buffet (which is ok). We availed ourselves of the pools a few times which was a great way to relax, cool off and de- jetlag. There is also free light rail which interconnects Monte Carlo - Bellagio (from memory).

Service was good, although there always seemed to be a wait.

This may not be the flashiest, but it is one of the classiest hotels on the Strip and the staff is over the top helpful and professional. The room was clean and the view terrific! We had a package through Southwest Airlines and it was the perfect choice!

Room Tip: Ask for high up and on the Strip if you can!
