Me and my husband got married in Las Vegas and we and our family stayed at this motel. In all honesty it was not bad and yes there was construction and the air conditioner was not as cool as we wanted. We had rooms on the 20th floor and we didn't hear the construction. The staff was excellent in helping us with our needs, rooms were cleaned everyday, and we didn't have any problems.

Stayed at Monte Carlo for 1 night, room was as expected, not as modern as you get in the newer places in LV but a typical American hotel room that was a good size. Didn't see, or hear, any of the renovations that are ongoing. Could see some bits that are complete inside the hotel & they looked very good. Once complete I'm sure this will become a must visit place for a lot of people! Enjoyable stay & would consider staying again if the price was right.

From the time we entered the hotel it was amazing, we heard about refurbishment issues but tbh we never had any problems whatsoever.
Rooms were clean, we were in one of the new rooms on the 22nd floor, serviced everyday we were here. Staff were friendly. Thoroughly enjoyable visit.

Do not stay in this Hotel! IS NOT SAFE!!! Our room was looted and stolen. My friend and I bought a stay from September 9 to 13, she flew from New Jersey and I flew from Puerto Rico. The last day of the stay when we arrived at our room we found that someone stole our clothes, laptop, jewelry, credit cards, cash, in short EVERYTHING !! The management and security treated us very poorly and they only gave us a form to write a complaint (from Security Mr. Chris Garcia came he didnt even ask questions). We both had to be at the airport at 5:00 am and there was no time to go to the police. The manager Christina Napolitano and the manager Marvin Courney said they would conduct an inquiry and call us, but it never happened. It is not until today September 22 that we manage to communicate and they told us that they can not be responsible since (according to them) they have no way of knowing if what we say are our belongings are real (although we say that we have receipts from them) , dint want to tell us what they saw in the cameras, because according to them that is internal. They say they can not blame the Housekeeper because they have no evidence against them (but they do not tell us what investigation they did).
How can't be responsibility of the hotel if when we left, the room was dirty and upon arrival was the room cleaned? Housekeeper came in, that's for sure. Housekeeper was the one who stole or left the door open for another to enter. To top it off, we explained that in the room they left us two large boxes of Krispy Kream that were not ours, it was as simple as seeing in the cameras who entered between the hour that we left and the one that we arrived with boxes of Krispy Kream, but no, they said that they could not be looking at the cameras to see that kind of thing, so they did NOT INVESTIGATE ANYTHING. Among the stolen things it was a suitecase, that also could be seen in the cameras who had it, but apparently did not even look at the cameras. I can understand that it is difficult to confirm everything they stole from us, but they did not make any effort to help their guests. The customer service is non existent and they did not offer us any help to solve the situation.
They stole us, but if we had been in the room maybe they raped us and what the Hotel representative were going to tell us? That they can not do anything because they can not confirm what we say? When I go to a Hotel it is because I want to enjoy and understand that I am sure that when I return at least I must find my clothes and that if someone steals me, the place is held responsible or it is taken seriously to investigate the situation. Everything looks like a scheme among the employees. They chose two single women, foreigners whose flight would leave at the time of committing the crime. Who else could have this information if they were not employees? PLEASE DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, YOU WILL LOSE MORE THAN THE MONEY OF THE STAY AND THE EXPERIENCE OF THE TRIP IS GOING TO BE RUINED.

We knew MC was being upgraded when we made our reservation; however, we did not know the already-upgraded rooms were unfinished and storage was so sparse. VERY minimal in every way (door to closet also serves as door to bathroom, Ugh!). No racks for used towels in the bath. Beds only have mattress--no box springs. No counter space in room, only one small round table and night stand. The couch does not make up for lack of amenities, no luggage rack, only two very small drawers inside closet. This hotel seems to be for business overnighters only and is reminiscent of small NY or european hotels. Too bad, as they had every opportunity to make this a good hotel equal to other MGM properties, and missed the mark! Also, having no pool (under construction) and needing to go across to MGM was not a problem (since we love the MGM lazy river), but MC should reduce their rates to make up for the inconvenience, especially since the pool won't be ready until next season (2018!). The casino was inadequate, as there was construction going on there, as well. Very few slots to choose from and difficult to get around. Sure hope things get better when all work is completed.

Room Tip: Wait until all rooms are upgraded, then ask for a suite!
