We stayed in the Kearsarge cabin before our 3-day hike on the AT across the Presidential Range, and then again on the return night. Reception was friendly and helpful. The main house/office/lodge/breakfast area was very nice >> great artwork and atmosphere. Cabin was cozy but on the small side. Bed was comfortable. Wifi was good. TV was small but we don't watch much anyway. No fridge, no microwave, no coffeemaker. Heat had not yet been turned on, so we bundled up in bed (it was chilly that week!). Bathroom and shower were small and it took a while for the hot water to get warm, but things were adequate. The home-cooked breakfast was very good and served with a smile. Not luxury accommodations, but the price, location, convenience, and breakfast worked very well for us! Great restaurant (Cabin Fever) for dinner within a half-mile.
