If you are looking for a place to stay in The White Mountain region this is the place to go. They offer clean cabins to stay in with various accommodations . If you have forgotten items they are usually available in the store. If you like running waters. The Pemi river runs right by or almost under the cabins. It is a nice get away and close to many attractions any time of year. Sue of NH.

Room Tip: Beaver Lodge warm, newly renovated.

This place is truly an amazing get away from Boston city life. The cabins are so quaint and sweet. They are clean, warm and relaxing. The staff is so nice and helpful (gave tips, directions and even let us barrow their hiking guide). We went with 2 dogs and it was really a pet friendly place. There is a calming river just outside the cabins, a place to grill and a fire pit if you are brave enough to sit outside in the cold. I will absolutely be returning here!!

We stayed in Cabin #8 (a couple) and loved it! We arrived late as well and the key was provided for us on the office door in an envelope. We helped ourselves to the wood in front of the office since we had requested two bundles beforehand so we were able to utilize the fireplace.

The furnace was adjustable so we were able to keep the cabin to the temperature that we desired. We stayed the first weekend of November, so it was too cold to stay out on the porch, but the view was still wonderful, and as others have mentioned you can still hear the river from inside (just loud enough that its relaxing).

Definitely a nice location if you're looking to stay up in the area at a reasonable price without "roughing" it too much. I'd consider the cabin to be very accommodating and it was right off of the main road.

We stayed for a long weekend at Pemi in late Fall, and our stay was everything we were looking for in terms of a New England weekend getaway. The staff was friendly and extremely welcoming, helpful (gave tips/directions on where to hike), the cabins were clean, and the wood stove made everything feel comfy and homey. The sugar cookies are also the best I've ever had....and you cannot beat the price for staying at Pemi! We will definitely be back in the upcoming months!

Room Tip: Some of the prices are slightly higher on a few of the cabins - it's well worth the money for the extra room if you're planning to entertain friends from another cabin.

We stayed in Cabin #5 again this past weekend and had another enjoyable stay. We arrived late Thursday night after the office was closed and there was an envelope taped to the door with our names on it with the key and a note enclosed, telling us to enjoy our stay and that they'd check in with us at some point over the course of the weekend. The owners make it feel like home and are always kind and welcoming. We were able to utilize our fireplace this time (which was great!) but unfortunately it was a bit too cold to enjoy the porch. However, the river could still be heard, which makes for very peaceful sleep! Also, being able to bring our dog is a huge bonus, he'd hate if we went hiking without him, so finding a place that's so accommodating in that area is key for us. We'll be back in the future and have and will always recommend Pemi Cabins!

Room Tip: Cabin #5 is great- the only we've stayed in, but perhaps too small if you have a larger dog.
