My daughters and I stayed here on our annual Thanksgiving weekend Friday/Saturday getaway. It is beautiful, charming, quaint and just lovely. The grounds are beautiful and the inn itself is full of New England charm. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. And they welcomed our Labrador Retriever with open arms! The room was very large and the bathroom amazingly roomy. The pub and food were excellent and very homey. We can't wait to come back!

Room Tip: 3rd floor was very quiet with an amazingly large room.

We came from Boston for a business dinner at the Lyme Inn and decided to book a room for the night. Are we glad we did! We loved our experience - so charming in every respect! Gracious and helpful staff and attentive service (the inn keeper checked in in us during our delicious dinner), an immaculate, comfortable and spacious room and bathroom, view of the town green and fireplace. We will be back!

My room was incredible! The windows, space, bathroom, decoration. I travel for business and could not believe how beautiful the room was. It was one of my favorites. I did not want to leave. Food and staff were incredible. You never have to leave the Inn. Very easy and flexible to work with for our 20 person corporate event!! Absolute, 5 star decadence at an affordable price!

We Stayed here 4.5 days in order to visit our daughter in Hanover. Lyme is a crossroads hamlet about 9 miles north of Hanover. It is a true Inn/bed-and-breakfast. High quality room (ours was a queen suite), beautiful grounds, enchanting dining room and menu to match, homey pub with full bar and food service, very pleasant people. What more can you ask?

We had a wonderful stay at the Lyme Inn for a visit to Dartmouth. Very charming New England Inn in a quaint, lovely town. Easy, 10 min. drive to the college, comfortable room with beautiful furnishings, super comfortable bedding, very quiet and secluded. I actually had the best night sleep I've ever had at a hotel/inn! Very good breakfast included with the rate (though I paid extra for a side a bacon--which was totally worth it!). Will definitely return next time I'm in the area--would like to stay longer and explore the area.
